
Dennis Spooner, Managing Partner of the Arnold Group of Companies of Spencer, IA, was elected to the Executive Board of Directors for the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, one of the largest auto parts distribution and marketing organizations in the world.
The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance is an association of automotive warehouses that market and purchase as Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper Parts Stores and Service Centers. As the source for quality parts and service for more than 2,300 parts stores and almost 2,700 certified service centers throughout North America, the Alliance prides itself on responding to the individual automotive needs of each customer and providing proven, quality service.
Richard H. Morgan, President and CEO of Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. (Alliance) made the announcement and noted “Every member of the board plays a vital role in the success of the Alliance and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them.”
Spooner is the Managing Partner of the Arnold Group of Companies which includes Arnold Motor Supply, The Merrill Company, Auto Value Parts Stores, Specialty Sales, Auto Refinish Solutions, Industrial Paint Solutions, Midwest Cylinder Head and Machine and Automotive Paint and Equipment. The original entity, Arnold Motor Supply, was started in Spencer, Iowa in 1927 by E.P. Arnold and is one of the largest partnerships in the United States. Their market area includes five states: Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Illinois and Missouri.
